Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring guests have an excellent dining experience from the moment they are seated until they leave. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner

  • Present menus, answer questions, and make menu recommendations when requested

  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar

  • Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met

  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly

  • Clear and reset tables after guests leave

  • Handle payment transactions accurately using the POS system

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations

  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times

 

Required Skills

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is preferred, but not always required

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure

  • Basic math skills for handling payments and giving change

  • Good memory for menus, specials, and customer preferences

Personality & Attitude:

  • Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude

  • Positive, can-do mindset

  • Attention to detail and a sense of urgency

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods (6+ hours per shift)

  • Must be able to carry trays, plates, and drinks (up to ~25 lbs)

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, often noisy environment

Availability:

  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
