Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Accountant to manage our global Financial Accounting and Reporting Project. The ideal candidate will be based in Southeast Asian countries (such as Pakistan) or African countries (such as Tanzania).
Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage the Financial Accounting and Reporting Project across multiple global jurisdictions
- Coordinate and lead both volunteer and paid staff teams
- Develop and implement standardized accounting processes and procedures
- Ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards
- Maintain accurate financial records and generate comprehensive reports
- Manage QuickBooks accounting systems
- Provide financial analysis and insights to project leadership
Required Skills
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks a plus
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work across different time zones and cultural contexts

- Experience with international accounting standards
- Project management certification
