Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs tailored to the needs of government officials and at-risk communities.
  • Ensure training materials are current with the latest data and findings.
  • Conduct training needs assessments of the communities at risk and government officials.
  • Facilitate coordination among various tiers of government and communities and other stakeholders.
  • Organize workshops and meetings to enhance intergovernmental collaboration.
  • Ensure regular assessments are done to evaluate the impact of training initiatives carried out at governmental and communal levels.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of training activities and outcomes.
  • Prepare regular reports on training, progress, and impact for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all training materials and documentation are accessible and well organized.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s/ master’s in Disaster Management, Sociology, or Development Studies.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a training or capacity-building role, preferably within the public sector or in emergency management.
  • Well-versed in the Sindhi language, local culture, and sensitivities.
  • Strong understanding of training methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the government system and its operational mechanisms.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office.
