Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Surveillance Officer to join our team. The Surveillance Officer will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing surveillance footage to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential security threats.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Monitor surveillance equipment and systems to ensure the security of premises and personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections to detect any irregularities or suspicious activities.
• Review and analyze surveillance footage for potential security breaches or incidents.
• Report and document all security incidents, suspicious activities, and violations.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency response teams as necessary.
• Implement and enforce security protocols and procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot surveillance equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Train and supervise security staff on surveillance procedures and equipment use.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding surveillance and privacy.

 

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• Must be Graduate; certification in security is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Surveillance Officer or in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in stressful situations.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.
• Basic computer skills for logging and report generation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including morning, nights, weekends, and holidays.
