Job Summary

The Secondary Physics Teacher will create an engaging and rigorous classroom environment that fosters critical thinking and a deep understanding of Physics principles. The teacher will deliver lessons, facilitate practical experiments, and encourage inquiry-based learning to help students grasp key concepts in Physics and their real-world applications.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver interactive Physics lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Conduct hands-on experiments and activities to foster student inquiry and exploration.
  •  Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Encourage critical thinking and collaboration among students.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
  • Collaborate with other teachers to enhance cross-disciplinary learning.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and school events.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience teaching Physics at the secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to create hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences.
  • Familiarity with current secondary science curricula and educational technologies.
  • Passion for teaching and helping students develop scientific curiosity and problem-solving skills.
