Job Summary
Objective:
The Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales and market penetration of dairy products. The role includes developing relationships with retailers, distributors, and key stakeholders while ensuring the achievement of sales targets and business growth in Gilgit Baltistan.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify and approach potential clients, including wholesalers, retailers, and distributors.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure product availability and visibility.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide after-sales support services and resolve feedback/complaints of customers.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Monitor dairy sector player activities, market trends, and customer preferences.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to the Sales Manager for strategy development.
Promotion and Merchandising:
- Execute promotional campaigns and product launches in coordination with sales and marketing team.
- Ensure proper product placement and branding at retail outlets.
Order Management and Delivery Coordination:
- Collect and process orders from clients.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports on the given formats/systems.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor product quality and report any issues immediately.
Data Management:
- Accurately post sales invoices and payment details in the system or excel.
- Updated customer information sand sales records regularly.
Collection and Banking:
- Manage the daily collection of payment from customers.
- Ensure timely deposit of collected payments into the bank.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
Required Skills
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the dairy or FMCG sector.
- In case of higher experience of 3-4 years in the sector, FA/FSC can also be considered.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
