Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Managing and reporting all security incidents 

  • Conducting and reviewing risk assessments 

  • Monitoring intelligence sources and regional security developments 

  • Producing detailed analysis on specific threats to the senior management team 

  • Contribute to monthly security reporting 

  • Assess and approve all travel and activities in their region 

  • Deliver new security projects in the region 

  • Advise on the development of operational and programmatic contingency plans that responds to different emergency scenarios that look at sudden changes in context 

  • Enhance SCI image and acceptance within the community and amongst stakeholders by providing guidance on inclusive visibility strategies 

Required Skills

Required Skills and Qualification:

  • Proven experience in safety and security operations, preferably from a military (retired army) or civilian security background.

  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations, making clear and effective decisions under pressure.

  • In-depth knowledge of public safety and security procedures, laws, and regulations.

  • Skilled in conducting risk assessments, implementing threat mitigation strategies, and enforcing safety protocols.

  • Strong teamwork skills, capable of collaborating effectively with diverse teams and local law enforcement or emergency services.

  • Attention to detail, with the ability to identify potential risks and hazards before they escalate.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting incidents, providing safety briefings, and interacting with stakeholders.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to quickly identify and resolve safety concerns.

  • Good physical health and stamina to handle inspections, patrols, and emergency responses.

  • Technical proficiency in using security systems, surveillance equipment, and reporting tools.

  • Valid driver’s license, with willingness to travel across the region for safety inspections and patrols.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; preference for additional certifications or degrees in criminal justice, public safety, or related fields.

  • Strong leadership abilities, integrity, and a proactive approach to maintaining a secure environment.
