Regional Head of Human Resources, South:
The Regional Head of Human Resources will be responsible for HR operations in AKES, P’s Southern Region units, and schools.
- Regional Head of HR will be responsible for HR operations in AKES, P’s Southern Region units, and schools.
- Ensuring that all recruitments/transfers/promotions/ regularizations/salary revisions are within budget and aligned with HR policy and procedures.
- Closely monitor vacancy factors and ensure minimal vacancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll. Coordinate with regional schools and the Central Office Finance Department regarding payment of salaries to employees.
- Ensure all the benefits such as leaves, EOBI, SESSI, free ship, provident fund, health and life insurance, overtime, etc. are administrated according to HR policy and procedures.
- Coordinate with health and life insurance companies for employee registration, data updates, deletion, and claims reimbursement.
- Ensure compliance of performance appraisals as per policy and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely issuance of letters to staff.
- Ensure that standardized HR formats/letters are used.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of final settlements.
- Ensure proper record-keeping and accessibility of all general and employee files.
- Handle all HR-related queries in the Southern Region.
- Report incidents/misconducts to the Legal Affairs person of Central Office-HRD.
- Ensure accurate and timely accessibility of data as and when required by the management.
- Handle all internal and external HR-related audit queries for the Southern Region.
- Identify professional development avenues for staff as per need analysis and manage/coordinate training and development function and keep record of training.
Required Skills
Skills and Qualification:
- The ideal candidate should have a master’s in human resources, with certifications in HR or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years. S/he should have technical skills including HR Information Systems (HRIS), payroll management, recruitment and selection, benefits administration, compliance and legal knowledge, data management and reporting, performance management systems, and training and development.
- Additionally, s/he should be able to handle HR auditing and possess strong communication and documentation skills, all while working efficiently under pressure.
