Job Summary

Reporting to the Regional AKEPB Chair and Program Manager National, the Program Officer will be needed at the Regional Council office of Southern and Central Regions. Main responsibilities will include:

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with National, Regional and Local Council and SWB and other Boards, as per need, to provide the required support to the Afghan Murids.
  • Documenting the needs of each family, developing family folders and a plan by allocating funds required to meet the need
  • Work with volunteers / Council team in identifying housing, schools and job opportunities
  • Work with the Local and   Afghan families on day to day basis; act as first responder when a new family arrives or registers with councils
  • Any other task deemed necessary to stabilize the family.

Required Skills

Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree
  • Minimum 2 year experience
  • Proficient in drafting documents professionally using MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of financial management concepts
