Job Summary

Position Overview:

The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing, developing, and managing programs and services for individuals with autism. This role requires strong leadership, program development skills, and coordination with therapists, educators, and families to ensure high-quality services are provided.

Role and Responsibilities:

Program Development & Implementation

  • Develop and implement evidence-based programs for children with autism.
  • Ensure programs align with best practices in autism therapy and education.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.

Staff Supervision & Training

  • Oversee and support therapists, special educators, and support staff.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on new techniques, therapies, and strategies.
  • Ensure staff maintain professional development and certifications as required.

Client & Family Support

  • Engage with parents and caregivers to provide guidance and support.
  • Develop individualized education and therapy plans in collaboration with specialists.
  • Address concerns from families and ensure a collaborative approach to therapy.

Administrative & Operational Management

  • Maintain records of client progress, therapy sessions, and staff activities.
  • Develop reports on program performance, impact, and outcomes.
  • Oversee budget planning, resource allocation, and program funding.

Community Engagement & Awareness

  • Organize awareness campaigns, workshops, and seminars.
  • Establish partnerships with schools, NGOs, healthcare providers, and donors.
  • Advocate for autism awareness and policy improvements at various forums.

 

Required Skills

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or related field.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing autism therapy programs or special education settings.
  • Strong understanding of ABA, TEACCH, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Sensory Integration.
  • Experience in team leadership, program evaluation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in an NGO, hospital, or educational institution focused on autism.
  • Knowledge of fundraising and grant writing for autism-related programs.
  • Familiarity with technology-based interventions and assistive tools.
