Job Summary

Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P) runs one of the largest not-for-profit private healthcare systems in the country, with a focus on the regions of Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Sindh. Its core focus includes initiatives for hard-to-reach populations through services like outreach clinics, training of community midwives to provide low-cost health services in remote areas, screening for non-communicable diseases, and digital health solutions.

Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for competent Office Boy for Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan – Gilgit/Astore/Diamer- Region.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining the office premises, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of all office areas, including restrooms, pantry, and meeting rooms.
  • Assisting in setting up meeting rooms and preparing them for meetings, including arranging chairs, tables, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Monitoring and replenishing office supplies, such as stationery, pantry items, and toiletries.
  • Collecting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and documents.
  • Running errands for the office, such as purchasing office supplies, delivering documents, and making bank deposits.
  • Purchase and restock office supplies, including stationery, coffee, and snacks
  • Provide general support to office employees, such as making photocopies, sending faxes, and assisting with document binding or printing.
  • Ensure that office equipment and supplies are well-organized and stocked.
  • Monitor and ensure the security of the office by keeping an eye on who enters and exits the premises.
  • Follow security protocols, such as signing in visitors and ensuring all doors are locked at the end of the day.
  • Perform other general tasks as requested by office management, which may include assisting with data entry, basic office accounting, or light cleaning duties.

Required Skills

Education, Experience & Competencies

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an office boy or in a similar role preferred
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic proficiency in handling office equipment.
  • Physical stamina for lifting and moving supplies
