Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics to students at various levels, developing lesson plans, and creating a positive learning environment that fosters a love for mathematics and critical thinking. The Mathematics Teacher will also be expected to assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the department’s overall educational goals.
Role and Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to make mathematical concepts accessible and engaging for students of varying abilities.
Classroom Instruction:
- Teach mathematical concepts, including but not limited to algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics, based on the grade level.
- Encourage analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in students through practical examples and real-world applications.
- Incorporate technology and interactive tools to enhance learning.
Student Assessment:
- Design and administer quizzes, tests, and assignments to evaluate student progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents, identifying areas for improvement.
Classroom Management:
- Maintain a disciplined and respectful classroom environment that promotes learning.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages active participation.
Professional Development:
- Stay updated with advancements in mathematics education and effective teaching strategies.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary lessons and activities.

Support and Guidance:

Required Skills
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience teaching mathematics at the middle or high school level preferred.
Strong Mathematical Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of mathematics concepts across various levels, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
- Ability to simplify complex mathematical theories and explain them in an accessible way.
