Job Summary

Job Summary: The Marketing/Business Development Officer is responsible for driving the company’s business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building relationships with clients, and developing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and revenue. This role involves a combination of strategic planning, market research, and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and monitor industry trends.
  • Analyze competitors' strategies and market conditions to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare detailed reports on market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and business growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients through meetings, presentations, and networking.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

Marketing Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to promote the company’s products and services.
  • Manage marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and traditional advertising.
  • Coordinate with the design and content teams to create engaging marketing materials.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Address client inquiries and provide solutions to their needs promptly.
  • Gather feedback from clients to improve service quality and inform product development.

Brand Development and Management:

  • Enhance the company's brand presence through strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Organize and participate in promotional events, trade shows, and conferences to showcase the company's offerings.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make adjustments as needed.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure cohesive strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development activities and marketing performance.
  • Assist in the development of marketing budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets.

 

Required Skills

Skills and Education:

  • Education: minimum Bachelors. 
  • A Masters degree will be preferable.
  • Experience : minimum 2 years
  • Skill sets : strong English language communication, excellent presentation skills, proficient use of MS Office
  • Attitude : Positive, Pro active, Problem Solver, Team player. Able to multi task and handle high pressure client projects. 
  • Personality: Pleasant and calm. Willing to learn and take ownership of tasks.
