Job Summary

We are seeking a creative, proactive, and results-driven Marketing Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth. As a Marketing Officer, you will play a key role in promoting our products/services, managing digital and traditional marketing campaigns, and contributing to the overall marketing strategy.

Role and  Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and email.
  • Create engaging content for promotional materials, websites, blogs, and social media platforms to strengthen brand presence and reach.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior to identify new opportunities and trends.
  • Assist in developing the marketing strategy in line with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage and optimize social media platforms, including creating content calendars, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers.
  • Coordinate with designers, content creators, and other teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing materials.
  • Organize and promote events, product launches, and promotions to boost visibility and sales.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and customer needs.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns through metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports on campaign performance.
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors, partners, and agencies to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Support the development of marketing collateral, such as brochures, presentations, and newsletters.
  • Assist in managing the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and marketing best practices to continuously improve strategies.

 

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in digital marketing, content creation, or related areas (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot) can be advantageous.

Professional Experience:

  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in marketing, communications, or a related field, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Experience managing marketing campaigns across multiple channels (social media, email, digital, print, etc.).
  • Familiarity with product promotions, event coordination, or brand awareness strategies is preferred.

Digital Marketing Expertise:

  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and creating engaging content.
  • Knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization), SEM (Search Engine Marketing), and Google Analytics to analyze and improve website and campaign performance.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp, Constant Contact).

Creative Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging copy for various marketing channels.
  • Basic graphic design skills (familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva).
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute creative marketing strategies.

Data-Driven Approach:

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to assess the success of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).

Project Management Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and design teams, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Adaptability:

  • Willingness to stay updated on marketing trends, tools, and best practices in a constantly evolving digital landscape.
  • Ability to adapt strategies based on changing market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), marketing automation platforms, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email templates or website updates (preferred but not mandatory).

Attention to Detail:

  • High level of attention to detail in creating and reviewing marketing materials, campaigns, and content.
  • Ability to maintain consistency in branding and messaging across all marketing channels.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience with paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
  • Knowledge of video editing or familiarity with tools like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro is a plus.
  • Public relations or media outreach experience is a bonus.
