Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Housemaid to provide housekeeping services to a private residence. The housemaid will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, tidiness, and organization throughout the home. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude towards ensuring a comfortable and pleasant living environment.

Role and  Responsibilities:

• Cleaning: Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and washing windows. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas.

• Laundry: Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothes and linen as needed. Ensure that clothes are handled properly and neatly stored.
• Organization: Keep the house organized by tidying up rooms, making beds, and arranging household items and personal belongings.
• Kitchen Assistance: Clean dishes, countertops, and kitchen appliances. Assist with meal preparation and food storage as requested.
• Errands: Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, or other tasks as needed.
• Trash Management: Empty trash bins, dispose of waste correctly, and ensure proper disposal of recycling materials.
• Pet Care (if applicable): Feed, groom, and care for household pets, including walking or exercising them.

Required Skills

Experience:

• Proven experience in a similar role (housemaid, housekeeper, domestic helper, etc.) is preferred.
• Experience in handling cleaning equipment, laundry, and maintaining household hygiene is an advantage.

Physical Fitness:

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as cleaning, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Stamina to work for long hours, often in fast-paced environments.

Cleaning Knowledge:

• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the safe use of cleaning products and chemicals.
• Understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards for various areas (e.g., kitchens, bathrooms, living areas).

Time Management:

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to prioritize work and ensure that all assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Attention to Detail:

• Meticulous attention to detail in cleaning and organizing various areas of the home.
• Ability to notice when items are out of place or require attention.

Trustworthiness and Integrity:

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of the household.
• High level of reliability and trustworthiness, especially when handling personal items and sensitive tasks.

Communication Skills:

• Ability to understand and follow verbal or written instructions.
• Good interpersonal skills to interact with employers and other household staff (if applicable).

Flexibility:

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if required.
• Ability to adapt to the specific needs or preferences of the household.

Personal Hygiene:

• Maintaining personal cleanliness and adhering to appropriate hygiene standards for the role.

• If the household has pets, the housemaid should be comfortable feeding, grooming, or taking care of them when needed.

Legal Requirements:
