Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to the hostel's menu
  • Ensure all meals are prepared on time and meet quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Follow health and safety regulations
  • Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Accommodate special dietary requirements and preferences
  • Collaborate with hostel staff to plan and adjust menus
  • Assist in cleaning dining areas and washing dishes

Required Skills

  • Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
