Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for a competent Health Facility Coordinator for Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan – Gilgit/Astore/Diamer- Region.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support the health facility team including LHVs and vaccinators in nutrition screening and immunization activities at health facility
- Build and sustain strong coordination with the district EPI and WHO/UNCEF team, project staff and health facility team to ensure the provision of integrated immunization and nutrition services
- Support the field teams in day-to-day activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives and consistency in service delivery across all health facility catchment areas.
- Support capacity-building initiatives and training sessions for facility staff on program guidelines, data handling, and integrated service delivery
- Monitor and improve service quality by helping the team to adhere to program protocols, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Coordinate with health facility staff to ensure timely and high-quality collection and reporting of immunization and nutrition related data using the project application while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with program requirements.
- Provide technical assistance to HF staff on using the digital application.
- Generate reports on immunization and nutrition indicators for health facilities and stakeholders
- Conduct regular data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure availability of equipment, nutrition and medical supplies at health facilities in coordination with district coordinator and Nutrition and MCH Officer for uninterrupted service delivery
- Ensure proper storage, handling, distribution and record of nutrition supplies at health facility
- Any other task assigned by the program team
Required Skills
Education, Experience & Competencies
- Diploma in nursing /LHV or at least bachelor’s degree health related field or social sciences
- Minimum 1 year of experience in data collection and reporting, health facility coordination, community health programs, or social mobilization.
- Ability to work under pressure with pressing deadlines
- Should be polite, respectful and courteous to the patients, community and to those who are in authority.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to speak and understand local languages
