Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic General Teacher to join our school community. As a General Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education to students across multiple subjects. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student is encouraged to develop their skills and knowledge. This role requires a strong commitment to student success, effective communication, and a collaborative approach to working with fellow educators and parents.

Role and  Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with the curriculum and school guidelines.
  • Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that supports student learning and growth.
  • Assess students’ progress through assignments, projects, tests, and regular feedback.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Create lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to different learning styles.
  • Monitor and support student development both academically and personally.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to support student achievement and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Address and resolve behavioral issues in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Participate in professional development activities to continually improve teaching skills.
  • Stay current with educational trends and best practices.
  • Experience in teaching multiple subjects.
  • Knowledge of current educational technologies and tools.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs.
  • Classroom management skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to address individual learning challenges.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or licensure (if applicable based on local regulations).
  • Additional certifications or qualifications in specialized areas Education).   Experience:
  • Previous teaching experience in a classroom setting is preferred but not always required.
  • Experience working with students of varying ages and skill levels is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment methods.

  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Classroom management skills to maintain a productive and positive learning environment.
  • Organizational skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and time management.
  • Proficiency with educational technology and tools (e.g., online learning platforms, interactive whiteboards).
  • Ability to foster a collaborative working relationship with fellow teachers, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, creativity, and the ability to motivate students.
