Job Summary

Role and  Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites with custom themes, plugins, and integrations.
• • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP code to extend WordPress functionality and integrate with third-party systems.
• Work closely with designers and product teams to ensure web applications meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
• Build custom back-end solutions for WordPress, optimizing server-side logic, databases, and API integrations.
• Ensure responsive, mobile-friendly web designs, optimizing both front-end and back-end performance.
• Prioritize and deliver high-quality features under tight deadlines, managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly, ensuring high availability and smooth functionality.
• Collaborate to ensure SEO best practices, site performance, and security standards are maintained.
• Follow coding best practices, ensuring all code is well-documented, maintainable, and scalable.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on WordPress and PHP.
• Proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin development, with experience in WordPress REST API.
• In-depth knowledge of PHP, including object-oriented programming (OOP), and familiarity with frameworks like Laravel or similar.
• Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, and front-end JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Expertise in SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL databases, with experience in integrating and optimizing for performance.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality websites under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
• Understanding of SEO best practices for WordPress sites.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus, particularly for scripting, automation, or building custom back-end functionality.
