Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Management & Reporting
• Oversee daily accounting and finance operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Coordinate audits (internal & external) and ensure timely closings.
• Taxation & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with Pakistan’s tax laws including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Withholding Tax.
• Manage export-related tax exemptions, refunds, and filing processes (especially FBR, WEBOC, and IRIS portals).
• Liaise with tax consultants and ensure timely submission of tax returns.
• Costing & Budget Control
• Monitor cost controls, especially for agricultural inputs and export logistics.
• Perform variance analysis and recommend cost-optimization strategies.
• Export Finance & Banking
• Manage relationships with banks for export proceeds, LC documentation, and foreign currency transactions.
• Handle SBP and E-Form requirements for export documentation.
• ERP & System Oversight
• Oversee finance module in ERP (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle).
• Ensure data integrity and accurate system reporting.
Required SkillsRequired Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of Pakistani tax system and export regulations.
• Hands-on experience with FBR filings, IRIS, WEBOC, and SBP procedures.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with cost accounting and agricultural value chains is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Good communication and team leadership skills.
