Job Summary
Background: Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P) runs one of the largest not-for-profit private healthcare systems in the country, with a focus on the regions of Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Sindh. Its core focus includes initiatives for hard-to-reach populations through services like outreach clinics, training of community midwives to provide low-cost health services in remote areas, screening for non-communicable diseases, and digital health solutions.
Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for competent Field Coordinator for District Ghizer.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled field visits to engage with potential and enrolled participants as per the approved work plan.
- Enter basic and identification information into data collection forms and review and verify all submitted data for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and submit detailed work plans and Travel Request Forms (TRFs) for all district-level data collection activities.
- Represent the Regional Office within the district, establishing positive relationships with stakeholders and ensuring smooth project operations.
- Accurately compile weekly data and enter it into spreadsheets, adhering to deadlines for timely reporting.
- Organize and conduct meetings and training sessions for DoH staff to build capacity and support project objectives.
- Write quality reports on project activities and progress, ensuring clear documentation of outcomes.
- Motivate and mentor the field team, fostering active participation in data collection and project activities to achieve project goals
Required Skills
Education, Experience & Competencies
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field (Public Health, Social Sciences, or relevant disciplines)
- 2-3 years of experience in field coordination, ideally in public health research or community development projects.
- Proven experience in working with local health staff and community health programs.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for data entry and reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the project to local stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data entry software and spreadsheets.
- Strong administrative and logistical knowledge
- Preference for local residents with knowledge of district dynamics and community needs.
- Willingness to travel within the district for field visits and training sessions as required.
