Roles and Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor the extrusion line machinery to ensure the production of high-quality WPP (woven polypropylene) packaging materials.
Adjust machine settings and controls to maintain consistent product specifications, such as thickness, width, and texture of the film.
Inspect raw materials (polypropylene) before feeding them into the extrusion machine to ensure they meet quality standards.
Ensure proper operation of the extruder, including loading, feeding, and maintaining the material flow during production.
Monitor the extrusion process to detect any inconsistencies, defects, or machine malfunctions, and take corrective actions as needed.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of extrusion machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Record production data such as extrusion speed, material usage, and downtime to ensure efficient production and track inventory.
Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety guidelines and practices.
Work closely with the quality control team to conduct tests and identify any quality issues during the production process.
Ensure compliance with company policies and standards for safety, product quality, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to meet daily production targets and ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor the cooling and winding process to ensure the final product is properly shaped and wound according to the required specifications.
Assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods from the line.
Report any equipment malfunctions, irregularities, or product quality issues to management for further analysis and resolution.

Required SkillsRequired Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; vocational training in manufacturing is required.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an extrusion line operator, preferably in the WPP packaging or related manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of extrusion machinery, processes, and production techniques.
Knowledge of raw materials, specifically polypropylene (WPP), and their properties.
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain extrusion equipment to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
Familiarity with safety procedures and equipment handling in a manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of product quality standards and the ability to perform regular quality checks.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and machine settings.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in monitoring production processes and making adjustments.
Basic knowledge of computer systems for data entry and tracking production metrics.
