Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate instructor specializing in English and Mathematics to prepare students for top university admissions and scholarship exams. The ideal candidate will have a robust knowledge of advanced English language skills and mathematical concepts, along with proven experience in preparing students for standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, and other competitive university entrance exams.

Role and  Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction in English and Mathematics, covering advanced grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, algebra, geometry, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills required for success in competitive examinations.
  • Guide students through practice exams, identifying areas for improvement and tailoring instruction to address weaknesses.
  • Teach effective test-taking strategies, time management, and question analysis for optimal performance on standardized tests.
  • Assess each student’s academic needs and create personalized study plans that focus on maximizing their strengths and addressing any gaps.
  • Provide constructive feedback on assignments and progress, setting clear goals to keep students motivated and on track.
  • Regularly track students' progress through assessments, assignments, and practice tests.
  • Communicate progress and provide regular updates to students and concerned authorities.

Stay current with trends in standardized testing, including changes in test formats and content areas.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or English.
  • Advanced degree or certification in test preparation (e.g., SAT, ACT) is a plus.

Experience:

  • Proven experience teaching English and Mathematics, ideally with a focus on preparing students for university entrance and scholarship exams.
  • Prior success in helping students achieve top scores on standardized tests is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and mathematical concepts required for competitive exams.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and motivational skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit a variety of learning styles and academic levels.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in educational technology and online teaching tools.
  • Familiarity with online test preparation platforms and resources is a plus.

Salary Range: 25K to 40K (Depends on skills and experience)

Timings: Four Classes per week (2 Hours for each class) 8 hours per week.
