We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Deputy Operation Manager to join our team and lead our operational processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset. As a Deputy Operation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring smooth and efficient workflows within the organization. This role requires hands-on problem-solving skills and the ability to drive operational excellence across all functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
Manage and supervise daily operations across the supply chain, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services and products.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
Supply Chain Optimization:
Analyse and streamline supply chain processes to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels and maintain supply continuity.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals and market demands.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor the operations team, ensuring they have the resources, training, and support to excel in their roles.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, set team objectives, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and key stakeholders to support efficient operations.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive rates and high-quality materials.
Address issues related to vendor performance and implement solutions to ensure consistent supply chain quality.
Project Management and Process Improvement:
Oversee and manage various projects within the operations department, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Utilize data analytics to forecast demands, assess risks, and make informed decisions that enhance operational outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education: MBA in Supply Chain Management (mandatory).
Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Skills:
Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, ERP systems, and supply chain management software.
Project management skills are highly desirable.
