Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Deputy Operation Manager to join our team and lead our operational processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset. As a Deputy Operation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring smooth and efficient workflows within the organization. This role requires hands-on problem-solving skills and the ability to drive operational excellence across all functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight:

    • Manage and supervise daily operations across the supply chain, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services and products.

    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Supply Chain Optimization:

    • Analyse and streamline supply chain processes to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.

    • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels and maintain supply continuity.

    • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals and market demands.

  • Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead and mentor the operations team, ensuring they have the resources, training, and support to excel in their roles.

    • Conduct regular performance evaluations, set team objectives, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and key stakeholders to support efficient operations.

    • Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive rates and high-quality materials.

    • Address issues related to vendor performance and implement solutions to ensure consistent supply chain quality.

  • Project Management and Process Improvement:

    • Oversee and manage various projects within the operations department, ensuring timely and successful completion.

    • Identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

    • Utilize data analytics to forecast demands, assess risks, and make informed decisions that enhance operational outcomes.

Required Skills

Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA in Supply Chain Management (mandatory).

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.

    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, ERP systems, and supply chain management software.

    • Project management skills are highly desirable.
