The Deputy General Manager (DGM), Gilgit-Baltistan, will lead the management and development of a network of 109 schools in Gilgit-Baltistan, comprising K-12, high, middle, and primary schools. The role also involves overseeing several support functions integral to the region's educational and operational excellence.

The DGM will support the General Manager (GM) in driving school improvement and operational efficiency across the AKES, P network as per the organization’s Long-Term Strategy, focusing on expanding access to quality education and enhancing student learning outcomes.  The position encompasses managing diverse school operations, implementing strategic initiatives, ensuring effective coordination, and overseeing the monitoring and evaluation of schools. Gradually assume responsibility for academic functions and leadership across the region.
 

Skills and Qualification:

•  Master’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of proven management experience with reputable institutions.
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in education management, operational planning, and tools like MS Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated experience in improving school outcomes and mentoring staff.
