The Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is seeking seasoned and dynamic Data Collectors for its Elderly Care Project in Karachi.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Attend training sessions to acquaint with study protocol and tools
Identify and recruit eligible participants from different field sites and administer the tool to survey population
Follow the ethical principles of household surveys for data collection
Provide complete data of questionnaire in digital format, ensuring no missing information
Meet the participant recruitment requirement/deadline to successfully complete the sample size of the study in defined time
Able to collect data on paper forms as well as digital tools
Maintain log sheets to keep track of field activities
Attend debriefing session with line manager on periodic basis
Address missing data by contacting participants as per protocol
Communicate regularly with the research team about recruitment and data collection process
Provide feedback and report any challenges to project team
Submit data reports on a timely basis to project team as required
Support participants throughout data collection process
Required Skills
Required Skills and Qualification:
Intermediate or Graduate with some relevant research experience with participants and data collection (any nursing or related knowledge will be preferred).
At least one year of relevant experience in healthcare/research will be preferred.
Familiarity with digital gadgets – tablets, mobile phones, laptops
Ability to work with adults and elderly population aged 45 years and above
Proficiency in utilizing computer applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel, REDCap, Kobo and other relevant tools and applications
Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions
Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills and demonstratable professional integrity
Aptitude to give oral instructions / information to participants in English and Urdu
