Job Description:

As a cost accountant, you will play a critical role in managing and analyzing our costs to ensure optimal financial performance. You will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Analysis & Reporting and handling Sales Tax.

Expertise in sales tax analysis.

• Analyze and report on product costs, manufacturing variances, and cost trends.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis.
• Monitor actual costs against budgeted costs and explain variances.
• Inventory Management:
• Perform periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Analyze inventory transactions and ensure proper accounting.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Implement and monitor cost control procedures.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare detailed financial reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
