Job Summary

Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P) runs one of the largest not-for-profit private healthcare systems in the country, with a focus on the regions of Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Sindh. Its core focus includes initiatives for hard-to-reach populations through services like outreach clinics, training of community midwives to provide low-cost health services in remote areas, screening for non-communicable diseases, and digital health solutions.

Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for competent Consultant Internal Medicine based in Aga Khan Hospital, Gilgit.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Regular check-up of patients and provide proper treatment according to AKHS, P standards,
• To motivate nursing staff and WMO/LMOs in Tertiary care unit to prove excellent service to the patient and increase service utilization in the unit
• To ensure that established protocols are followed for patient treatments
• To ensure that appropriate pre and post-operative care is given to all patients.
• To perform relevant surgeries.
• Regular meeting with unit team to check performance
• Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.

Required Skills

Education, Experience & Competencies

• MBBS/FCPS with valid PMDC license
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Should have an aptitude of working in a multidisciplinary team
• Team working skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Good time management
• Good communication and team building skills
