Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for competent Clinical Psychologist for Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan – based in Gilgit & Chitral Region.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct regular consulting in-person clinics and teleconsultation
- administer psychotherapeutic interventions and counseling to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders
- Gather and maintain patient information and records through mobile application and HMIS, including social and medical history obtained from patients, relatives, and other professionals.
- Design individualized care plans, using a variety of treatments
- psychological support services assess and help patients with psychological problems of all types and levels of severity, including:
- anxiety, including adjustment disorders, generalized anxiety states, phobias and panic attacks
- depression, ranging from adjustment disorders to severe clinical depression
- problems with personal relationships, including communication with health and social care professionals
- psychosexual difficulties (such as erectile dysfunction and loss of libido)
- alcohol and drug-related problems
- personality disorder
- deliberate self-harm
- psychotic illness
- neuro developmental disorders
- Provide Psychological therapy for individuals, families and groups
- Consultation, supervision and staff support
- Training and Development and Psycho Education of individuals and families suffering from mental illness
- Research.
Required Skills
Skills and Qualification:
- Minimum BS/MSC in clinical psychology. (PGD in Clinical psychology will be preferred.)
- Minimum 1 years of experience in dealing with all type of psychological disorders.
- Should have an aptitude of working in a multidisciplinary team
- Team working skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Good time management
- Good communication and team building skills
