Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Development Manager who is highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving the company’s growth. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and a passion for expanding business operations into new markets, while maintaining and enhancing existing partnerships.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, business opportunities, and potential new markets. Analyze industry and competitor data to help inform decision-making.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and engage with prospective clients through networking, referrals, cold calling, and other lead-generation techniques. Build strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with other organizations, suppliers, and stakeholders to enhance the company’s business reach.
  • Sales Strategy: Work with the sales team to develop strategies that drive revenue growth, including lead generation, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
  • Business Development Plans: Create and implement business development plans and objectives aligned with company goals. Track and report progress on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present business proposals, pitch decks, and presentations to potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner. Foster strong relationships for repeat business.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development, finance) to ensure alignment on business development goals.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients and partners to secure profitable agreements that are aligned with company goals.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales activity, business development efforts, and performance outcomes. Present insights to senior management.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and recommend opportunities to expand into new geographic or industry markets.

 

Required Skills

 Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Master’s degree (MBA) is a plus.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in [industry].
