Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations

  • Process payroll, invoices, and other financial transactions

  • Assist with audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed

  • Continuously improve systems and processes for better financial efficiency

  • Provide support to the Finance Manager and cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP systems

  • Knowledge of tax regulations and corporate finance

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus

Experience:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance

  • Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes

Knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

  • Knowledge of tax regulations and financial compliance

  • Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements
