Job Summary

 

Accountant will serve the role as Generalist who manages the finance function. They take ownership for every aspect that goes into producing an organization's report, from Bank reconciliation and financial forecasting includes inventory etc. This position reports to Head of Finance and situated at Head Office, Karachi.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Keeping account books and systems up to date.
• Daily Monthly Progress Reports includes client’s reconciliation, Petty cash entries / Head Office & Site & bank balance confirmation and transfer.
• Implementation of any additional required finance and accounting related activities.
• Reconciliation of receivable and payables.
• Reconciliation of inventory valuation and bank accounts.
• Responsible for providing support in the Departmental Audit as & when carried out and also rectifying all        observations in a timely & accurate manner.
• Assisting Head of Finance in day-to-day activities of the Department.
• Credit Card Payment record and Reconciliation
• Cheque preparation
• Any other task assigned by Head of Finance and Director or his /her designated.

Required Skills

Education and Experience

• Incumbent must have BBA. MBA and Part Qualified ACCA and ICMAP will be preferred with at least 1 years of experience in relevant field.

• Hands on experience of SAP (Systems, Applications & Products in Data Processing)
• Strong numeracy skills
• S/he must have excellent command over spoken and written English.
• S/he must demonstrate highest level of ethical behavior and should have excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate interaction with the workforce.
• S/he should be flexible in order to adapt to changes in work environment.
• S/he should have excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• S/he must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
