Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer with a strong background in fuel and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with US-based companies and possess excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the organization.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends and variances.

Compliance and Auditing:

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and documentation.
• Develop and implement efficient financial record-keeping systems.
• Provide financial information to management as needed.
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of financial data.

Communication and Coordination:

• Liaise with internal departments to gather and analyze financial data.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax authorities.
• Communicate financial policies and procedures to staff.
• Provide financial support and guidance to other departments as needed.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• Minimum Bachelors Degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Candidate hold Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Must have sound knowledge of Excel (advance excel formula)
