Job Summary

Daman Equipment is seeking profile for the position of Account Assistant cum Administrator.

  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and receivable.
  • Invoicing & Payments: Prepare and issue invoices, process payments, and monitor outstanding accounts.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile company bank accounts on a regular basis.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly/quarterly reports.
  • Expense Tracking: Manage and track employee expense claims, ensure proper documentation.
  • Office Administration: Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Support Staff: Provide administrative support to team members, such as managing calendars and organizing travel arrangements.
  • Communication: Answer phone calls, emails, and manage correspondence with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain proper filing systems for both financial and non-financial documents.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of office supplies and services.

Required Skills

Qualification:

  • Age 25 and above 
  • At least B.Com 
  • 1 to 2 years experience 

Experience:

  • Prior experience in both accounting and office administration is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of general bookkeeping principles and financial statements.
