Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and transactions.
Process invoices, receipts, and payments in accordance with company policies.
Prepare and maintain balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Assist with budgeting and financial reporting tasks.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper record-keeping.
Organize and file financial documents for easy access and retrieval.
Respond to financial inquiries from internal and external parties.
Support in audit preparation and compliance tasks.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data.
Perform data entry and update accounting software regularly.
Assist in payroll processing and related tasks.
Required Skills and Qualification:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams and clients.
Ability to work with confidential financial information.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Basic knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role is an advantage.
Experience with financial data entry or handling invoices and payments is beneficial.
Certification in accounting software or relevant qualifications like AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) is a plus.
